to Justice for Every Rwandan

Samuel Mugabo is the Founder and Chief Executive Director of Afford Justice Rwanda (AJRW). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a Master’s Degree in Public International Law, and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma at the Institute of Legal Practice and Development.

He has more than ten years of professional experience in legal aid, refugee protection, and access to justice services at both national and international levels. His work has focused on supporting vulnerable communities, promoting legal empowerment, and improving access to justice for individuals facing social, economic, and legal barriers.

Under his leadership, AJRW was established to promote affordable, accessible, and coordinated access to justice in Rwanda. AJRW is not a law firm and does not directly provide legal representation. Instead, the organization works in collaboration with licensed advocates, law firms, and relevant institutions to help individuals and members access legal services in a more affordable, timely, and organized manner.

Samuel Mugabo believes that justice should be practical, affordable, and accessible to every person, regardless of their economic or social background.
